Lead Backend & Cloud Developer (m/w/d)

As a Lead Backend & Cloud Developer (m/f/d), you are centrally setting the pace for our backend & cloud team. In the role of servant leader, you lead with empathy and expertise, create the best framework conditions for your team and actively promote the development of modern software products. At the same time, you are part of our management team, help shape strategic decisions and live the TPL spirit of cooperation. Your heart beats not only for strategic topics, but also for hands-on coding and technical innovation.

What we expect from you:

• You have several years of experience in software development, ideally you already have management experience
• You feel at home in technologies such as Nest.js, TypeScript, Java, MongoDB, and Redis, or are motivated to continue developing in them. You are also familiar with cloud and container infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, Docker, Terraform or DataBricks and would like to contribute and expand your knowledge together with us
• You live in modern software architecture and master agile development methods while you sleep
• You have leadership DNA, inspire, motivate and develop people. In doing so, you and your team make well-founded decisions that combine technical excellence and entrepreneurial thinking
• You are a problem solver, identify challenges quickly and act in a solution-oriented manner — with a clear focus on quality and efficiency
• You are an ace in communication, have tact and a talent for moderation and communication

• You work closely with design, product owners and other teams to create technical concepts, estimate expenses and drive innovative solutions
• You ensure that our corporate values are lived internally and externally — every day
• Together with your team, you develop and optimize software solutions using technologies such as Nest.js, TypeScript, Java, MongoDB and Redis
• You are responsible for the deployment and development of our cloud and container infrastructure using AWS, Azure, Docker and Terraform
• You ensure continuous improvement and quality assurance through pair programming, code reviews and agile processes
